Author's POV

I think we should protect animals, we should care more for the environment. If we let more and more animals die, the whole balance of the earth would fall apart. We should think before we do because it might cause something bad to happen, especially in the environment.
- In the article "Endangered whale may be safer in an aquarium." the author's point of view is to let Loilta go to the ocean where she belongs. The author believes this because some orca activists say the the way Loilta's is cramped in a small tank is a form of mistreatment. Also people think "It is inhumane to force her to perform in shows.". Finally, he thinks that she should be released because there are fewer the 80 orcas in the southern oceans and they need to repopulate.
- In the article "Ending "Shamu" stunts isn't enough to protect whales, activists say" the author's point of view is to stop making orcas perform in shows and do tricks because people want more natural shows. He believes this because people want to see the way killer whales act naturally rather then them doing tricks. Also California costumers also want more natural shows and fewer tricks. Finally people think orcas tricks they do in the wild are better then stuff they perceive as tricks.

Exciting Moment

My book is Wings of Fire and the most exciting part is when the Sea palace is being attacked by an assassin. The queen found out the assassin was attacking because Tsunami, the main character, was attacked by the assassin. After they made a prediction that the person attacking the palace was assassin that always got away with killing the dragonet eggs. The queen, Tsunami, and the whole army started rushing towards the Sea Wing Royal Hatchery to check on the eggs. They all finally made it, but two out of three of the eggs were shattered and destroyed. The dragons that were inside the egg were now dead. But then, Tsunami volunteers to take the job of protecting the last remaining egg. I predict the Tsunami will encounter the assassin again and who will try to take the egg.

Sensory Language

In my book Wings of Fire there is many sensory language such as "An island loomed out in front of them, with immense coral reefs clustered all around it.  "This creates a mood inside my mind that the setting is a very sketchy and ominous . Also phrases such as "Orange branches twined around purple star-shaped clusters." reminds me of decorations that you find in a very happy party. Finally sentences like "Lacy fans the color of rust darted in and out of the holes." make the setting feel more alive, it makes me feel very relaxed. These sensory details make the book feel more alive, it feels like your living inside the story.  It creates a very calm mood.
