     The conflict of The Night I Followed the Dog is about a boy that starts getting suspicious about his dogs where about's and one night follows him. Then after he starts spying on him, the dog keeps surprising the boy with things like his dog house look like a real home, he has a limo, and his dog owns a club for dogs. The theme of the story is that sometimes people are not what then seem to be.
